If Neil L Anderson is marking up his General Conference issue of the Ensign with highlighters and pens, we probably should be doing the same thing.

(Check the bottom of the page for the countdown.  He'll be home December 18th!!!)

Hello! I Have a LOT I want to say, and very very little time to say it.

We had Neil L Anderson of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles visit our mission on November 23, 2013.  :)
If anyone reading this is unfamiliar, we believe in the same organization that existed in Christ's church during his mortal ministry.  The modern day apostles are the equivalent to having Peter, or James or John come and visit with you.  It's pretty humbling.  We each got to shake his hand :)

I learned so much from him in such a short period of time.  One thing that really stuck out to me is that he taught us, by example, how to learn.  Let me tell you, if Neil L Anderson is marking up his General Conference issue of the Ensign with highlighters and pens, we probably should be doing the same thing.  (And he is.)

For my family, I'll show you all my notes from him later :)

Everyone should read the talk "Learning By Faith" by Bednar.

It looks like this Saturday, the Baptism drought in Olympia 2nd will finally be over :)
Pray for us!
