"you older missionaries"

Tuesday, May 28, 2013

First of all, transfer calls!

Elder B is being transferred to... *drumroll*.... Preston Idaho.  He's going home!
Elder C is being transferred to... Eatonville, in the Graham Zone!  (which means, effective June 26, he will be part of the Federal Way Mission)

Elder Z is staying in Bremerton
And Elder Lonas is......... staying in Bremerton!

I'm down to stay again, but this is way long.  But I have 2 people here I need to baptize still.  There are a lot of others we should hopefully baptize in the next 6 weeks as well, but there are 2 that I feel like I was sent here for.  I think its very, very important that I do that. Once I do, I can go somewhere else.

Also, when President is talking to me, he keeps making references to "you older missionaries", and I keep checking over my shoulder to see who he is referring to. Today is my 17th month mark, and before the end of this transfer I'll be 18.  That's just 6 months, or 4 transfers left, and really a little bit less because of the transfer cycle dates.

Our weekend was really... really, really rough.  We had 4 baptisms fall through for lame reasons, my favorite investigator didn't come to church for a lame reason, and because we were trying to get her to church I missed the sacrament for the first time in...... a really long time.

My new companion Elder F is apparently way into working out, so we're gonna get gym memberships, that will be fun.  And he's way good at scriptures, I hear.   And he and  I are getting a baby boy (a new missionary to train), so that'll be fun!  I'll meet him in a couple hours.
